A new Indie game from developer Microbird, Dungeons of Hinterberg has been revealed to launch in 2024 through an announcement trailer in Sunday’s 2024 Xbox 2023 Games Showcase. First revealed in 2021, the game’s development seems to be in its final touches and will land on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Game Pass next year. Showcasing its amazing simplistic art design, the trailer reveals some adventurous footage of Luisa traversing through the Austrian Alps. As an action RPG, Dungeons of Hinterberg places the player in slash-and-hack combat against enemies in a single-player adventure.
All About Dungeons of Hinterberg Announced at Xbox Games Showcase
The RPG title offers players 25 dungeons to battle enemies and explore. At the same time, the dungeons offer puzzles and boss fight to mix the gameplay and keep things interesting.
When not looting the dungeons, players have over 10 unique locations to hang out in Hinterberg. While resting at these locations, players can interact and create friendships with over 20 residents and other slayers for more points.

Like several exceptional titles shown off for the Xbox Showcase today, Dungeons of Hinterberg has touched the hearts of Indie RPG fans. The game lets you skate through icy slopes, ride whirlwinds, glide your way down rocky hills, and ride on quarry trains to your destinations.
The trailer also showcases a series of treasure chests to win in your quests, and plenty of opportunities to battle bosses with varied abilities and looks in quest fights or ring-based boss attacks.
