Starfield Outpost Location Tips
There are several factors you want to consider that can help you find the best outpost planet in Starfield. Resources are key, but where they are on a planet is important too. It helps to find a cluster of different resources to settle your outpost on. This lets you mine several types of resources without traveling too far on foot. Additionally, make sure that tools like your planet scanner are upgraded. It helps you detect resources with ease.
From there, focus on the atmosphere. If it’s pleasant, you can go on foot and work outside more easily without protection.
If you want to trade more, focus on planets with large hubs like Jemison. Otherwise, you can find a barren planet in terms of people, but it’s resource-heavy, which makes it perfect for those who need to stock up on minerals. Don’t forget to look at the fauna. You want to be prepared to encounter hostile creatures whenever you explore.
