Following her appearance at the Karoline Vitto Milan Fashion Week runway show powered by Dolce & Gabbana, Ashley Graham shared an inside look at the creation of the historical moment on Instagram. At the start of the clip, Ashley, with goldleaf facemask on, announced it was the last day of the MFW. The video cut to the plus-size model making faces in her car, and giving herself a foot massage while declaring “this is real life.”
Upon her arrival at the venue, Ashley Graham exchanged pleasantries with Karoline and her crew before proceeding to rehearse for the Milan Fashion Week runway show. Afterwards, the model dished her thoughts on the significance of the moment in fahion’s history, saying,
“It’s so iconic to have these curvy women together in a show, like celebrating our bodies together. Honestly, it’s so beautiful. This is what representation is. This is exactly what we want to see during fashion months in all the cities. In all the countries. I feel so grateful to be here.”
