Nvidia just announced the RTX 4070, along with its release date. The latest Ada Lovelace GPU will be available in stores today, April 13, 2023. RTX 4070 Release Date Announced Today – MSRP $599
Nvidia recently announced the release date for the RTX 4070. The new RTX 4000 series GPU is priced at a retail price of $599 for the Founders Edition. Though, we’ll see a significant bump regarding 3rd-party manufacturers.
According to Nvidia, the new RTX GPU can handle the latest AAA titles like Microsoft Flight Simulator, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, and Dying Light Stay Human at a whopping 100+ FPS at 1440p.
In contrast to the previous-gen 3000 series GPUs, such as the RTX 3070 Ti, the RTX 4070 consumes 23 percent less power while giving a performance bump of 1.7x. It’s nearly 1.4x more powerful compared to the RTX 3080 while consuming less than half the power. But Nvidia didn’t give any details about when the GPU goes up against the RTX 3090
Players that buy the RTX 4070 before May 8, 2023, will get free access to Overwatch 2 Season 4’s battle pass, along with a few skins and 1000 OW coins.
The new GPU also gives users access to new technologies such as Nvidia RTX Video Super Resolution, Nvidia Studio, and Nvidia Broadcast, which is perfect for people who want to consume media, create it, record clips, and stream games online.
