Hailey Bieber has finally spoken up about the truth surrounding Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez’s relationship in a podcast session. Over the years, different questions from fans who have supported the “Jelena” ship have sprung up. Many claims have come up that Hailey “stole” Bieber from Gomez. Hailey is finally ready to tell the truth after several years.
A teaser from the Call Her Daddy podcast showed how Hailey finally acknowledged all the rumors surrounding her relationship with her husband, Justin Bieber.
In the teaser released on September 26, the Call Her Daddy host, Alex Cooper, asked Hailey if she was ever in a romantic relationship with Justin Bieber at the time he was with Selena Gomez.
Hailed replied to Cooper that it was crazy that she had never talked about or addressed the issue. She referred to how people hated her because they feel that she stole Justin Bieber from Selena Gomez. She continued by saying that “It’s about people knowing the truth. Because there’s a truth.”
What Brewed The Hate For Hailey Bieber?
The podcast teaser showed how Cooper noted that people were obsessed with Justin and Selena being together. The duo, Justin and Selena, had been dating on and off for eight years before they finally parted in 2018. Months after the split from Gomez, Bieber proposed to Hailey, which caused fans to react negatively to Hailey.
According to Page Six, Last year at the Met Gala, fans who were still obsessed with Justin and Selena’s relationship were taunting Hailey with chants of “Selena” when she arrived.
As of April 2022, the model said that enough time had passed since Justin and Selena broke up. She then requested for people to stop hating on her unnecessarily and move on, as it was only “valid” to do so.
In the talk she had with Call Her Daddy, she provided a glimpse of how the hate she has received has affected her over the years.
