What would happen if the daughter of a Yakuza boss went to a normal school? What would happen if a loyal servant of the crime family infiltrated the school to protect the girl? This anime shows us the life after Frieren, an elven mage, and her party defeated the Demon King. After the fight, Frieren journeys for a while and vows to see her friends a few years later.
However, she’s an elf who can live more than 1,000 years, meaning time isn’t important to her; when she returns to meet her partners, they all die of old age, which fills her with regret. Filled with guilt, she decides to travel the world to meet more people, learn more about magic, and hopefully, find her friend’s soul to give him a proper farewell.
5. The Apothecary Diaries – TOHO Animation x OLM
Moving away from magic, we have The Apothecary Diaries. Based on a light novel, this anime sees Maomao, an eccentric and curious pharmacist, kidnapped and sold to the palace to work as a servant. Despite her unfortunate circumstances, Maomao continues to be as curious as one can be to finish her years of servitude as fast as possible.Â

Many speculate the show will now adapt volumes 6 to 10 of the light novel that’ll see our heroes journey to elven lands, help a mage kill Goblins inside a Mausoleum, and take the Sword Maiden to the capital. Undoubtedly, the crew is on its way to adventure, and we can’t wait to tag along.
2. Rising of the Shield Hero Season 3 – Kinema Citrus
This might be one of the best Isekai ever, or it was before its second season. The show’s last season was underwhelming and left fans with a sour taste. Back from another world, Naofumi, Raphtalia, and the rest are ready to embark on new adventures. This time, the show might adapt to the Fallen Heroes arc, which means they need to solve the Spirit Tortoise debacle we saw in previous episodes. Get ready to meet old and new characters in this season.

One of the best anime for the Fall 2023 season is Spy x Family. We’ll finally see more adventures of this dysfunctional and overpowered family. If you haven’t watched it, the show follows the adventures of Loid Forger, a spy who needs to infiltrate a nation’s social circle of influential figures by getting a fake family.Â
However, this family hosts a girl with telepathic powers and one of the world’s deadliest assassins.
