Now, with all eyes on the summer edition of Love Island, the show’s fans have decided to go over some of the most iconic moments in the show’s history.
Andrew, Tasha, and Cocco’s Love Island Casa Amor Controversy
The 2022 Summer edition of Love Island featured one of the messiest love triangles in the show’s history. Andrew Le Page, Cocco Lodge, and Tasha Ghouri all actively participated in the spectacle. Andrew and Tasha were coupled up for weeks during the show, and their relationship looked destined to make it to the finals.
Well, that was until the dreaded Casa Amor challenge came along and tore them apart. After returning to the main villa, Andrew heard some disturbing reports about Tasha bad-mouthing him behind his back and decided to recouple with Coco. Meanwhile, Tasha recoupled with Billy Brown but hinted at a possible reconciliation with Andrew.
And that looked increasingly likely after Andrew opted to end things with Coco just a few hours after recoupling with her. Unfortunately, she didn’t take the dumping in good faith and decided to spill the beans on what happened between herself and Andrew to other Islanders. In her words:

Tom and Maura’s Hideaway Spat
Another epic moment that has been hard to forget for most Love Island fans was the hideaway spat between Tom Walker and Maura Higgins during the 2019 season of Love Island. The two were briefly romantically involved during their stay in the villa. But it all fell apart just as things were set to get a bit more serious between them.

Emma and Terry’s Love Island Wild Night
Emma-Jane and Terry Walsh made history during their stint in the 2016 season of Love Island. The open-sex romp between the two ranks amongst the most controversial moments in the history of the ITV2 series. Emma and Terry stunned fans during the season when they had sex on top of the cover. Although the noise from their sexual acts drew the attention of the other Islanders, the two carried on unbothered.
Interestingly, the shocking sex scenes happened just a few days after Terry’s former love interest Malin Andersson left the show. Terry had previously vowed to leave the villa after Malin’s eviction, but he later changed his mind. So, fans felt disgusted when he moved on from her and had sex with Emma, Tom’s ex-lover.
The two received a lot of backlash for their actions. Some viewers even trolled Emma’s family after her sex romp with Terry. Although Emma fully regrets her actions, the incident still leaves rent-free in the memories of the show’s ardent fans.
