Can you believe it’s been 10 years since Miley Cyrus dropped Bangerz? The album, which marked Cyrus’ fourth record, was released on Sept. 30, 2013. It notably featured singles like “We Can’t Stop” and “Wrecking Ball,” the latter of which became Cyrus’ first song to top the Billboard Hot 100. To celebrate 10 years of the iconic album, Cyrus unveiled a special anniversary edition of Bangerz on Instagram. The release will come in a vinyl format, which will feature unreleased photos and Cyrus’ hit single “23.”
10th Anniversary Edition of Bangerz Available Now
On Friday, Sept. 29, Cyrus made the exciting announcement by sharing a photo from her Bangerz era on Instagram. The image showed the star rocking her iconic blonde pixie cut from 2013. She also had on a black blazer and matching black pants and held a bouquet of flowers in one arm. Cyrus also shared new cover art for Bangerz, which features her in a short black coat against a palm tree background.
Cyrus promoted the 10th anniversary edition of Bangerz by referencing her latest single “Used To Be Young,” which dropped on Aug. 25. “I KNOW I USED TO BE CRAZY! I KNOW I USED TO BE FUN! I KNOW I USED TO BE WILD! THAT’S CAUSE I USED TO BE YOUNG #10YearsOfBangerz,” Cyrus captioned her post. “ANNIVERSARY VINYL with unreleased photos + 23 Featuring @mikewillmadeit @juicyj@wizkhalifa OUT NOW!!!!”

The release comes six months after Cryus dropped her eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation, on March 10. The record marked her first original work since she signed with Columbia Records in March 2021. Prior to that, Cyrus had been with RCA Records for seven years. Endless Summer Vacation debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and resulted in singles like “Flowers” and “Jaded.”
