The Pokemon Company has officially revealed that the rest of the Ultimate Journeys anime will be hitting Netflix later this year. Ultimate Journeys is an alternate title for the Pokemon: Aim To Be A Pokemon Master anime that aired in Japan. Aim To Be A Pokemon Master was a send-off to Ash Ketchum, ending his run as the lead character of the anime after nearly 26 years as the main character. The anime was followed by Pokemon Horizons, which focuses on new characters as the leads. Horizons will also make its Western debut soon.
When will the Last Episodes of Pokemon Ultimate Journeys Launch?
The Pokemon Company shocked fans worldwide when it announced that they were retiring Ash as the lead character of the anime in 2022. The Pokemon Journeys anime ended with Ash winning the World Coronation and being declared the best trainer in the world.
Aim To Be A Pokemon Master was a miniseries that served as an epilogue to Journeys. The miniseries has Ash travel the world again with Misty and Brock and discover a new reason to continue his journey. The series finished airing in Japan in March.
The Pokemon Company announced that it will launch the miniseries as Pokemon Ultimate Journeys on Netflix for the US. Ultimate Journeys will release on Netflix on September 8. All eleven episodes of the series will release concurrently, and they will all have English dubs.
Pokemon Horizons is the first show not to feature Ash Ketchum in a lead role. Horizons instead center on the adventures of Liko and Roy, new young trainers who travel with the Rising Volt Tacklers adventurers. The new show began airing in Japan in April.

A new dubbed trailer for Horizons was revealed during San Diego Comic-Con. The first ten minutes of the first episode are now available on YouTube, showcasing the new English cast. The Pokemon Horizons English dub anime is “Coming Soon.”
