The Spider-Verse has been a popular franchise for Marvel since it brings in multiple different Spider-Men, like Miles Morales, Spider-Gwen, and more. There has been a new update from the producer, Amy Pascal that might be hinting at a live-action version of the character arriving in the future.
Fans Might Get A Live-Action Miles Morales
There was a refernce to Miles dropped in Spider-Man: No Way Home, where Jamie Foxx’s Electro wondered out loud if there was “a Black Spider-Man somewhere out there,” referring to the Multiverse. Many people wondered shortly after the young Spider-Man made his appearance, if he would join Tom Holland’s Spider-Man in the MCU, and although we have gotten news that Tom Holland is returning to his Spider-Man role in upcoming movies, we are unsure if the Miles character will join anytime soon.
Amy Pascal, during a interview with Empire Magazine said that the fans will “have to wait a couple of years” for Miles Morales’ live-action movie debut. However, the voice actor for Miles, Shameik Moore told Empire about his own experince during the Spider-Man: No Way Home premiere. “I was at the premiere of No Way Home and everyone looked at me on that line. I got a lot of tweets.”
Moore also mentioned that “everyone knows,” even including Tom Holland and Jamie Foxx that he would be perfect for the role of the live-action Miles Morales. “I feel like everyone knows I would be a great Miles Morales. As I left the theatra after that permiere, Jamie Foxx looked at me like…he knew. I think Tom Holland knows, too.” He then added, “it just depends on how old they want Miles Morales to be by the time they’re ready to do a live-action movie. That’s the conundrum with whether or not I end up playing him.”
