Despite being released years ago, Red Dead Redemption 2 is still one of the top games with the best graphics, and it seems that some modder folks have taken the wheel to enhance this experience further. As it’s known, most of these mods are not official and cannot change the game mechanics. However, they can make the titles look better by changing the graphics. Custom mods for Red Dead Redemption 2, which have been released recently, are some of them, and they bring 4K support to the characters in the game.
Red Dead Redemption 2 Characters Get 4K Support with Custom Mods
Although it has been five years since its release, Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 still looks pretty good. However, some modders thought they could do better than that and recently started releasing custom graphics mods for the Western-themed action-adventure game constantly. A number of mods launched by Nexus Mods user Instanity bring 4K support to the characters in the game and give a different look to the title, which already has very solid graphics.
These mods offer fans improved faces, bodies, and hair/beard appearances for the characters of almost all story and side mission characters in the game. There are also separate mods for those who want to improve only the looks of Dutch and Arthur.
RDR 2 still has a very large fan base and does not receive the same support from Rockstar as it used to, as it is slowly starting to fall into an old game category. Although it continues to receive patches, these often do not fully satisfy players because they focus on minor changes and fixes. At this point, modders take the stage and slightly increase the gaming experience, such as 4K mods.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on PC, PS4, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One for those who haven’t yet played the game.
