What is the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC – The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero
The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero is halved into two: The Teal Mask and The Indigo Disk. They each have a unique story and gameplay. The Teal Mask takes place in Kitakami, a region reminiscent of Japan. As your character goes on a school trip, you’ll uncover the mysteries behind folktales and catch new pokémon in this bustling village. On the other hand, The Indigo Disk has you attending the Blueberry Academy, a sister school of Naranja/Uva Academy. Scarlet & Violet DLC’s new school located under the ocean focuses on Pokémon battling.

When is the Release Date for The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero
As for the release date for the Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC, while we don’t have an official date yet, we do have release windows. The Teal Mask will launch in fall 2023, and The Indigo Disk will be available in winter 2023. According to Nintendo’s UK eShop page, all content will come out by April 30th, 2024. Do You Need to Have The Base Game?
One of the best things about Pokémon Scarlet & Violet DLC is that you don’t necessarily need to beat the main game to access part 1, The Teal Mask. You just need to begin your Treasure Hunt in Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet, which takes roughly three hours of gameplay. However, The Indigo Disk requires you to have beaten the main story of the base game and The Teal Mask.
