The Soulslike genre has many twists, but some things stay the same. Neowiz has taken its take on the genre, particularly seen with all the stats introduced in Lies of P that need to be explained. You will level up but need to know what you are pouring your Ergo into. If you play the traditional entries in the genre developed by FromSoftware, the structure will be familiar. Still, we need to go over the specifics as each of these games has its own vocabulary. When you start a new Soulslike, it is about learning its language to firmly grasp what you must do to succeed, as you will already have plenty of challenges ahead.
All Stats in Lies of P Explained
The best way to look at all the stats in Lies of P is to break it in half. Some core stats will need to be invested in no matter what build you choose. Others will be based on preference, as not everyone will go for a Dexterity build, as they may want to go for Strength. Before we get into that, let’s go over the basics.

Common Stats
Below are the basic stats that we have explained in Lies of P for you. Some of these overlap with what you will pour Ergo into to level up. Others are tied to other gameplay mechanics, like when you are in the heat of combat.
- HP – Health, which, if gone down, you die
- Stamina – Energy to sprint and attack. Replenishes over time when not doing anything that drains it. Heavy weapons will use more Stamina
- Legion – Resource that lets you use your Legion Arm, essentially ammo. Replenish by resting or using specific items.
- Weight – How much you can carry for equipment. The first number will be what you carry, and then a second number will be your total weight. Go above 60%, and you will be slowed down and unable to quickly dodge roll.
- Fable Slot – Used to perform Fable Arts, special moves tied to your weapon.
- Guard Regain – Amount of health regained after attacking following reduced damage from blocking.
Lies of P is available on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, and PC. It is also available for Game Pass subscribers.
