According to the developers, Diablo 4 already has big season plans for the game. Each season will last roughly three months, with four seasons throughout the year. Besides that, recent details of Diablo 4‘s Battle Pass rewards show they’ll be purely cosmetic.
The Battle Pass will cost $10 if you want to go for the premium tier or $20 if you want to unlock 20 levels as soon as your purchase it. Yet, the game will have a lot of things for players to do, so we recommend holding off on buying it unless you want most of the rewards. The Battle Pass will include 90 tiers, with 27 free to all players.

While many were skeptical about the Battle Pass of Diablo 4, it is nice to see the company is holding on to its word and giving only cosmetic items as per the new details. Many were afraid of this game, including pay-to-win aspects such as Diablo Immortal, but it seems Activision Blizzard read the room because that won’t happen with the next big entry.
Yet, Battle Passes will always be controversial as players hate to pay again for something if they’ve already paid for a full game. Although, a cosmetic-only Battle Pass doesn’t seem so bad. Only time will tell if the developers will keep it cosmetic-only or start adding pay-to-win aspects in the future.
