EA has revealed the second F1 23 deep dive and the second episode of Braking Point in a Showcase video released today on the EA Sports F1 youtube channel. In the video, Codemasters has unveiled more details pertaining to the all-hyped returning Braking Point Story mode. At the same time, the franchise has shown some deep insights into the F1 23 world. Additionally, the showcase has revealed more details about its incoming Ranked multiplayer System. F1 23 will launch on June 16, 2023, on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
F1 23 Braking Point 2 & Deep Dive Episode 2 Insights
A few days ago, Electronic Arts released its first deep dive into the game. In the showcase video, the team focused on Vehicle Physics and handling improvements. At the same time, the first deep dive gave more information about the return of red flags and the authentic recreations of the Las Vegas and Qatar grands prix.
In today’s showcase, Codemasters has focused on telling the Braking Point narrative. This story mode is a return from F1 2021 following Aiden Jackson’s journey as the newest driver in Formula 1. In the first chapter, Aiden is confronted by Devon Butler in a ruthless competition for the best.
However, in Braking Point 2, Aiden Jackson and Devon Butler will join in F1 2023 to create a new team in the Konnersport Butler Racing Team. Following the 2022 and 2023 seasons, the second Braking Point will also feature multiple new characters, including Formula 2™ champion, Callie Mayer.
On the same note, today’s deep dive focuses on F1 23 new world as the newest feature in the game. According to the release, the world is rich in features that will provide immersive gameplay options.
EA also revealed information pertaining to overhauled Ranked Multiplayer. In this F1 series, ranked system drivers will be organized into groups of 100 drivers, each with a separate leaderboard.
