During Gamescom 2023, Alan Wake 2 unveiled a new trailer that mixes live-action with videogame graphics, creating a terrifying experience. After all the survival horror games we’ve seen this year, it is nice to know the genre is not slowing down and preparing for one of 2023’s biggest hits.

The last time we got a big gameplay trailer for Alan Wake 2 was during Summer Game Fest, and it seems the developers were saving another big video for Gamescom 2023. In the recent trailer, we got a glimpse of more story details about this upcoming survival horror game. As you may or may not know, Alan Wake 2 will let you play as two characters. The first is Alan, of course, while the second is Saga Anderson, an FBI agent. The former is looking for a way to escape the Dark Place, while the latter wants to solve a case of murder.
