In the midst of all the trailers during the Xbox Games Showcase 2023, the 1TB Xbox Series S was announced. It’s definitely one of the other surprises to come out of the Microsoft-led event. A plentiful of World Premieres were at the forefront, with the new hardware reveal occurring toward the end. The footage was quick, though, almost like a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it event. Microsoft’s current lineup of consoles has provided players with numerous ways to visit other worlds and wars. The powerhouse of the Xbox Series X shows the world just what the next-gen graphics and gameplay can do. For a cheaper route, the Xbox Series S became a part of the Microsoft family. But after owner/player feedback and three years of post-launch festivities, a Carbon Black Xbox Series S has entered the picture.
In under 40 seconds, Microsoft at the Xbox Showcase presented the World Premiere footage for the new 1 TB Xbox Series S. Backed by intense electronic music and a black hole, the video gives us the essential information for the upcoming platform. This includes the established 1TB SSD and its Carbon Black design, though it fails to mention its release date.
The fresh 1TB Xbox Series S console will arrive in stores and homes this September 1, 2023. Its arrival is in tangent with Starfield‘s September 6 release.
