You’ll run into this powerful Pokemon on the upcoming 5-star raid and want to take a peek at this Pokemon GO guide with Entei’s counters, weaknesses, and moveset. This volcano Pokemon is part of the Johto region’s legendary roster. This Pokemon, born from a volcano’s eruption, is considered a fire-type Pokemon with the passion of magma within it. It has no ancestor or evolution in its history. While Entei is not large, you don’t want to be in front of it when it launches a dragon-style flare. You’ll get scorched, so be cautious.

Entei is no easy task for trainers seeking to defeat and capture it. With its fiery prowess, Entei boasts impressive power and agility. For good reason; it is not easy to find it on any given excursion.

But like all Pokemon, it also has its weaknesses. Earth-type, Rock-type, and Water-type Pokemon have a distinct advantage when facing Entei.

In Pokemon GO to effectively counter Entei, trainers should consider forming a team consisting of Garchomp, Groudon, Gyarados, Kyogre, Rhyperior, Swampert, Terrakion, and Tyranitar. Taking on Entei in Pokemon GO early in the battle with a sturdy Water-type Pokemon is an intelligent strategy. This decision will help you unbalance it quickly and block its fire potential. Then, using a Rock or Earth-type Pokemon as support to finish it off would be fine.

This Pokemon’s stats are average. There is only a slight difference in her attack values over his defense. So, with careful planning and a well-balanced team, trainers can increase their chances of emerging victorious in front of their counters in Pokemon GO in their attempt to take on the fiery 198kg guardian, Entei.

Entei’s Moveset

Entei can disburse both fast and charged moves depending on the moment of battle and his counters in Pokemon GO. You will need a good reading of the fight to know when to use each without receiving a counterattack from your opponent.

Move TypeMove Name
FastFire Fang (Fire)
FastFire Spin (Fire)
ChargedFire Blast (Fire)
ChargedFlame Charge (Fire)
ChargedFlamethrower (Fire)

Pokemon GO is available on iPhone and Android devices.
