Earlier today, Nintendo closed out E3 2021 with their Direct, and they did not disappoint. From Legend of Zelda news to a plethora of new ports coming to the platform, there’s a little something for every fan to get excited about.
E3 2021 Premiere:Â Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania
To celebrate its 20th anniversary, Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania will release later this year on October 5.
E3 2021 Premiere:Â Mario Party Superstars
Set to release on October 29, Mario Party Superstars is a brand-new party boasting five classics boards, including Peach’s Birthday Cake. Over 100 mini-games can be enjoyed with friends through online play.
Metroid Dread
Fans might be disappointed to hear that Nintendo is still working on Metroid Prime 4, but they did announce the stylish Metroid Dread. It is set to release on October 8 alongside a new amiibo.
E3 2021 Premiere:Â Warioware: Get It Together!
Set to release on September 10, Warioware: Get It Together! is full of mini-games that can be enjoyed with two players.
Shin Megami Tensei 5
The next iteration of the Shin Megami Tensei is coming to Nintendo Switch on November 12. The release date trailer also showed off some exciting new gameplay.
Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Water
An official release date was not announced for Fatal Frame: Maiden of the Black Water but it should release later this year.
Nintendo Announces Legend of Zelda Game & Watch System
To celebrate the franchise’s 35th anniversary, A Legend of Zelda-inspired Game & Watch system will be available on November 12. Down-sized versions of The Legend of Zelda, Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, and other games will be available on it.
Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild SequelÂ
Last but not least, Nintendo’s E3 showcase ended with a very short trailer for the new Breath of the Wild sequel. While showing off some gameplay, the trailer also announced a release window of 2022.
Along with the announcements above, Nintendo also announced that the remastered collection of Life is Strange and Daganronpa would be coming to the console. The Cruis’n and The Advanced Wars franchises will also make an appearance on the Nintendo Switch. And, to bring their E3 2021 conference to a close, Nintendo also discussed expansion packs for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity and Tekken’s Kazuya coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.Â
