The 2020 Comic-Con has been canceled, and first-timers are more devastated than ever. If this was supposed to be your first-ever Comic-Con, it might be a real bummer to you and your friends. Fortunately, the Comic-Con in 2021 seems to be going ahead despite worries that the coronavirus would still be present at that time (hopefully not).

While you’re waiting for another year for Comic-Con, here are other preparations you can do for your first-ever event.

5 Preparations for Your First Ever Comic-Con

1.) Create a Plan and a Back-Up Plan

Comic-Con is a busy event; it’s not even for the faint-hearted. There are so many things going on at the same time, and if you don’t have a plan, you’ll end up wasting so much precious time. The best way to go about Comic-Con is by creating a plan and a back-up plan.

When planning, make sure that you consider your CR breaks (they are very important!), the long lines, the number of people wanting your slot, and all other panels that would happen at the same time. Make sure that your back-up plan also includes contingency, switches of panels and shows, and other things.

2.) Set a Budget

You’d be amazed at how there are so many things to see and buy at Comic-Con. If you think you’ll end up buying a lot of things, then you should be saving up this early. To keep you from overspending, setting a budget is going to be helpful. But of course, you must make sure that you stick to this budget.

3.) Gather a Small Group of Friends

Scared to go to Comic-Con alone? Gather a small group of friends with the same interests as you, so you don’t freak out during the event. Ideally, just get 2-3 friends, so it’s also not difficult to manage. A great tip here is inviting someone who’s been to Comic-Con before so they can act as a guide, and you get insider tips on what to do and bring.

4.) Know the Details Behind the Event

As early as now, it will help to keep an eye out on the announcements about Comic-Con. If all goes well, the 2021 Comic-Con is coming back, and those who are prepared get to enjoy it even more. So, gather all the information and make sure you prepare everything that you need.

5.) Chill Out

Although the next Comic-Con is several months away, there’s no use fussing about it this early. The best you can do right now is just patiently wait for it. You can think about this as training your patience for the long lines that await you at Comic-Con.

In the meantime, you can do other activities while waiting for that day. What about online casinos or video games? If online casinos are your thing, you can check out Bet America NJ casino for a list of games. If video games sound more interesting to you, then there’s a bunch of new 2020 games available for purchase online.
