Spiderman: No Way Home’s box office has now surpassed Avengers: Infinity War and Titanic in terms of revenue. This now puts the film at the fifth highest-earning film of all time behind Black Panther and Avatar. While the film held firm for four weeks since its release, it recently lost its top spot to Scream.
No Way Home has been at the number one spot since its release on December 17th. It had a record-breaking opening weekend at the North American box office, bringing in $260 million.
Spiderman: No Way Home’s box office has earned more than $1.5 billion globally, making about $670 million domestically. Still, the hype for the film has not died down in the slightest. Projections have Spiderman: No Way Home making around $21.5 million in its fifth week, which will eventually put it in front of Black Panther. Once this happens, No Way Home will be the ninth biggest ticket-sold movie in the last thirty years.
The film is also the first to make one billion USD since Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. Sony has also said that No Way Home is the top-grossing film of 2021 and their entire cinematography.
