The fans have been served once more with some Spider-Man hilarity. All three cinematic Spider-Men – Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire – have posed once more for the finger-pointing Spider-Man meme to celebrate the upcoming digital and physical copy releases for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Fans of the web-slingers can start pre-ordering today from major retailers. The digital release will arrive on March 22, and the physical copies will swing into stores starting on April 12 for 4K UHD and Blu-ray editions.
One Wasn’t Enough: The Three Spider-Men Reunite For A Classic Pose
For those who aren’t too familiar with the finger-pointing meme, here’s a quick breakdown. It comes from the 1967 Spider-Man cartoon, and it makes its appearance during the “Double Identity” episode. Spider-Man must stop an impostor who just so happens to be dressed up as Spider-Man. In a quick gesture, both characters proceed to point fingers at each other while both claim to be the real Spider-Man.
Of course, we got THE meme. #SpiderManNoWayHome swings home on Digital March 22 and on 4K UHD & Blu-ray on April 12!

This simple scene has made its way to the realms of the internet, with various remixes that eventually saw the ultimate Spider-Man pipedream of having all three film actors point at each other in their respective suits. In addition to this meme, it also made an appearance in an end-credits scene for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, where a dimension-traveling Miguel O’Hara runs into another Spider-Man from Earth-67. They then perform a war of finger-pointing as J. Jonah Jameson and a cop debate on who the real one is.
Now, we’ve gotten to see the meme in action with the recent Spider-Man: No Way Home release. The three Spider-Man actors actually did it while working a lab during the film’s third act. Many rejoiced, and the leaked images of the scene began to appear on social media. Due to the popularity of the meme, Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire performed the same move again to promote the film’s home release dates.
You can set your pre-orders now for Spider-Man: No Way Home. Keep in mind that it won’t appear on Disney+ anytime soon. If you have Starz, you’ll be one of the lucky folks who will be able to stream it.
It was great to see all three Spider-Man actors do this for the film and fans! What did you think? Were you expecting the finger-pointing Spider-Man meme to reappear in this fashion? Let us know in the comments!
