Netflix and Wonderstorm have released the official full trailer for season 5 of The Dragon Prince. Previously, the studio had only released clips of various episodes. The new trailer gives fans of the popular Netflix animated series a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming fifth season. Season 5 of The Dragon Prince will release exclusively on Netflix on July 27, 2023. It will pick up right where season 4 left off.
The Dragon Prince Season 5 Trailer Details
Netflix released two clips for season 5 in May and June of this year, each providing a look at scenes from upcoming episodes. The new trailer is the first official look at the story for season 5, which will pick up where season 4 left off.
Callum, Rayla, Ezran, Soren, Zam, and Zubeia are still searching for a way to prevent the evil Startouch Elf Aaravos from being freed from his prison. At the same time, Claudia, Viren, and Terry continue their search for Aaravos for a different reason: to prevent Viren from dying in 30 days.
The trailer shows each group racing against the clock to find Aaravos before it’s too late. The Dragon Prince season 5 will be the newest season of the hit animated Netflix series, which is currently slated for seven seasons on the streaming platform. There is no news on the progress of the sixth or seventh seasons of The Dragon Prince at this time.
The hiatus between the third and fourth seasons was nearly three years, as the team at Wonderstorm was making progress on both the fourth and future seasons. Season 4 concluded in November 2022. For this reason, it is possible that season 6 will air sometime in 2024, while season 7 will conclude the series in 2025, but nothing is confirmed now.
