September 9-11 will be a huge time for Disney fans, as that will be this year’s D23. A little more than a month away from the fan event, Disney expanded the panels for Marvel Studios at D23. All superhero-related activities and news will be exploding after the company already had a huge weekend at San Diego Comic-Con 2022, where it unveiled a Black Panther: Wakanda Forever trailer, a large portion of what’s to come for Phase 5 and 6, which includes two Avengers movies.
We will focus on the schedule for Marvel Studios at the Disney event, but you can find the whole schedule on its website.
Disney expands Marvel Studios panels at D23
At 2 p.m. on September 9 will be the first panel for fans of Marvel Studios at the Disney outing. It will feature Marvel Draw Live! with Brian Crosby, the company’s themed entertainment director. He will show how to draw iconic characters.
The next day at 10 a.m., Disney presents Marvel Studios and Lucasfilm collaborating for a panel as leaders and celebrities come together to showcase upcoming projects. The MCU has a lot of known details about its slate for 2023-2025, but many gaps need to be filled. Fans should cross their fingers for news on Deadpool 3, anything related to X-Men, Disney Plus shows like Ironheart, and more for theatrical and streaming content. It will likely want to promote anything extra that we have coming soon, like Wakanda Forever, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3., and the Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special. There is plenty of room for some exciting news to rival its presentation from SDCC.
1:30 p.m. will be another Marvel Draw Live! with Brian Crosby.
Right after, at 2 p.m., a celebratory panel for 60 years of Spider-Man will begin. Editor Nick Lowe and EIC C.B. Cebulski go over the iconic character’s comic book history. At 5:30, the two will be available for a signing.
The final day focuses on Disney, not Marvel Studios, as it has no panels on September 11. It will surely be a massive two days for the company, but it will be a lot to reach after SDCC.
