Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex was nowhere near the gathering of other royals as she goes hiking during the coronation ceremony of King Charles III. King Charles III was officially crowned on May 6. As expected there were dignitaries from far and near as well as other government officials. The event which was held In Westminster Abbey, saw all the royals in attendance— or nearly. The King’s siblings including Princess Anne, and Prince Edward were spotted. The Prince and Princess of Wales also attended the coronation of King Charles III. Making the rounds since the event has Princess Charlotte, Prince Louise, and Prince Geroge who embodied their roles as royals. Their uncle, Prince Harry was also seen, but without his family.

Though still being referred to by her Duchess of Sussex title, Meghan Markle is no longer a royal. Recall that the pair bowed out of royal duties a few years ago, for privacy. While enjoying their newfound privacy, they have been generous with details involving the royals. This has somewhat strained their relationship with the blue blood. More recently was Harry’s “Spare” publication which has been criticized for condemning his family.
But no matter how much he divulges about the royals, he honors significant events. He was present for King Charles III’s coronation. The red-haired prince attended the event alone. He left his family in the US. However, Harry’s mind seemed to be at home, as he jetted off almost immediately for Archie’s birthday. During his absence, his wife appeared very engaged. Meghan Markle was photographed while she was busy hiking with friends.
Meghan Markle Hiking And In High Spirits
The Duchess Of Sussex did not concern herself with royal matters, however. She went hiking instead. The former royal member was more than ready as she joined friends, Heather Dorak, and Markus Anderson. While enjoying the pastime not too far from her Montecito home, she decked an all-black outfit.
Markle tightened her frame in black leggings and an athletic top. She added an unbuttoned jacket, scarf, and a wide-brimmed hat to the look. The photographer also captured her in boots fit for hiking. Despite not having her husband next to her, and missing the King’s big day, she appeared happy. The “Suit” alum did not seem to have any worry in the world.
This outing comes shortly after the coronation ceremony of King Charles III. Though the Duchess has not been in contact with the royals, this is the first time she will miss a significant event. The last time Meghan Markle was around her in-laws was when she attended the Queen’s funeral.
Reportedly, the King had summoned a meeting and wanted to end the ongoing brouhaha. However, sources claimed Harry has asked for the inclusion of a third party. Things have since heated up with his explanations in his tell-all book, where he referenced Wiliam, his mom, and the King.
