Kid Cudi is growing his space in Hollywood as Netflix released the official trailer for Entergalactic, his animated series with a star-studded lineup. The new look at the series focuses on its romantic story of two artists falling in love in New York City.
The story of Entergalactic follows Jabari, played by Kid Cudi, who is on the grind to be a successful artist. When he meets his neighbor, a photographer named Meadow, played by Jessica Williams (Fantastic Beasts: The Secrets of Dumbledore), he has to figure out if he can make a relationship work alongside his ambitions.
Entergalactic was created by Kid Cudi, who writes, stars, and executive produces the series. He co-writes with Ian Edelman (How to Make It in America) and Maurice Williams, making his writing debut, who will both executive produce with the creator. Kenya Barris, Dennis Cummings, Karina Manashil, and director of the series Fletcher Moules will executive produce. Michael Penketh and Nick Read will produce.

Superstar Kid Cudi is only one of the big names attached to Entergalactic. Timothée Chalamet, Keith David (Nope), Vanessa Hudgens (tick, tick… BOOM!), Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone), Laura Harrier (Spider-Man: Homecoming), Christopher Abbott (Possessor), and Williams will star with the musician-turned-actor.
Making his career off music, Kid Cudi is one of the handful of musicians who have gone off to TV and film with Entergalactic. Over the last few years, he has been building his filmography with an array of projects in different genres to flex his acting muscles while going under his real name Scott Mescudi. Earlier this year, he was in the horror film X with Jenna Ortega. Last year he was in the Oscar-nominated, and star-studded film Don’t Look Up. Other notable projects have been Westworld, We Are Who We Are, and Crisis.
Entergalactic releases on Netflix on September 30.
