Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer mode is going to be much different from the current MW2 in terms of gameplay. Recently there have been many rumors and MW3 Multiplayer leaks, so we’re going to dive into details and see what the possible changes we can expect to come to MW3, and what features will change from the current MW2 gameplay.

The most interesting part about the new Modern Warfare 3’s Multiplayer mode is definitely the change in movement. There have been lots of requests during the last year for the developers to bring back movement mechanics like slide canceling and the slide jump to MW2 and Warzone 2. And now the movement has been much better overall in Season 5. However, if you’re looking for a mix of Warzone 1 and 2 movements in a Call of Duty game, MW3 is your best shot.

The InkSlasher YouTube channel has been a consistent content creator over Call of Duty topics during the past years. And now it has released some information regarding the Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer mode and its movement mechanics.

In that video, it’s been stated that some of the content creators and gamers have been invited to the Sledgehammer Games studio to experience the new Call of Duty game. They were not allowed to record any footage, but they shared some important info about their early access to the game.

According to the InkSlasher YT channel, MW3 Multiplayer mode will feature nearly all the movement mechanics from Warzone 1. This means that you can do slide canceling, slide jumping, drawing weapons faster during the slide, and having a much more fast-paced gameplay overall.

This came as a rumor a few months back before the game’s official trailers. But now the content creators are leaking more info about it. The Espresso YT channel has a new video in this regard, stating that instead of perks in the game, you can use gear.

According to MW3 leaks, in Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer, you can use special footwear for example, in order to silence your operator’s footstep sound. Or you can use helmet gear as the Birdseye perk from MW2. It looks like the functionality of gear is the same as the perks.

MW3 Field Upgrades and Killstreaks

There has not been much information about the lethal and tactical equipment in the Modern Warfare 3 Multiplayer mode. But four names are shining from the leaks in this regard. The first two are the Breacher Drone and Mosquito Drone, which are probably from the Killstreaks. The first one is described as a bomb drone that you can control and explode on command. The second one is described as an automatic drone that you can deploy to kill and explode on a target on sight.

However, there’s a name of a very interesting piece of tactical equipment as well; something called the ACS Spike. You can use this tactical during zone objective-based game modes like Control, Domination, or Hardpoint to act as an operator. When you place this device inside the permitter, it gives you a score and you can even leave the spot to guard it from outside.

And finally, there’s the Comms Scrambler as a tactical or maybe a killstreak or even a field upgrade that gives you the abilities of the Ghost Perk in a certain area. However, this ability is not just activated for you, but all your team can use it in that area! This and the mentioned ACS Spike are two game-changing additions that can change the Call of Duty‘s Multiplayer mode.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is due to release on November 10, 2023.
