A twist in the story will force you to ask a simple question. Should you side with the Netwatch Agent or Voodoo Boys in Cyberpunk 2077? As the quest “I Walk The Line” in Cyberpunk 2077 unfolds, you will run into Netrunner. Faced with your intention to overrule him and hand him over to the Voodoo Boys, he suggests something else. While he is a threat to the side you now belong to, the offer is worth listening to and may change your story.

The Netrunner’s idea as the Netwatch’s mouthpiece is to help you with the chip that infects your head and get rid of it. He also promises to free the frozen leaders in his custody and return them to the Voodoo Boys in Cyberpunk 2077. Sounds tempting, doesn’t it? But in return, you will have to let him go with the information he has gathered so far and, therefore, not fulfill your part of the deal with the Voodoo Boys. Is it wise to turn the Voodoo Boys against you?

If you decide in Cyberpunk 2077 to take the Netwatch Agent down and make him disappear, you can return to the Voodoo Boys with good news. But we regret to tell you that Placide will use you to do his homework. He will send you to burn all the agents, but the hidden truth is that he wants to get rid of you, too. He won’t succeed then, but this will influence how your story will continue at the hands of the Voodoo Boys.

You can later on head to the Voodoo Boys’ hideout and punch Placide in the face. There’s no imminent gunfight with them, but you’ll get a chance to loot the Voodoo Boys secret stash, which in an encrypted locker room inside their lair and contains 8,000 Eurodollars.

Accept NetWatch’s deal in Cyberpunk 2077

The first relevant information the NetWatch Agent will give you is that your death is coming. The NetWatch Agent will inform you that the Voodoo Boys in Cyberpunk 2077 plan to kill you even if you return with the accomplished objective. If you take his word for it and let him go and accept the deal, he will keep their end of the bargain. He lets you out of the GIM safe and sound.

He will also return Bridgette to the Voodoo Boys. You’ll have Bridgette on your side anyway. She’ll agree to help you with the virus in your head even if she must thoroughly examine your chip.

This is the best option for how things will play out later. If you decide to back NetWatch in Cyberpunk 2077, he’ll take out a bunch of Voodoo Boy’s guards, and after all, you’ll get to kill a couple of the bad guys in the story. Serves them right for what they did to Evelyn. You can use that moment to make a break for it and loot all the Voodoo Boys’ corpses to get some nice loot.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox.
