Nintendo has confirmed that a new story will be available in the upcoming Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe, known as the Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler. It will focus on the inter dimensional traveler Magolor as he embarks on a journey to restore his powers following the conclusion of the main storyline.
Magolor Epilogue: It’s Magolor’s Time to Shine in This New Mode!
The Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler is a new story mode that will be available after beating the main story of Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe. After losing his powers, Magolor is left lost in between dimensions, with only a basic attack and jump to defend himself.
He must journey across time and space to restore his powers by defeating enemies and collecting magic coins. These coins can be used to enhance his skills, improving his levitation or increasing the range and power of his magical spells. Players will be able to restore these abilities in any order they see fit. Up to four friends can also play in co-op mode.
The Magolor Epilogue: The Interdimensional Traveler was recently leaked prior to its showing in the February 2023 Nintendo Direct as a part of the back cover for the physical edition of Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe. Magolor must restore his powers and return home to Kirby and gang before its too late.
Kirby’s Return to Dreamland will officialy release for Nintendo Switch on February 24, 2023. A free demo version of the game is currently available for download on the Nintendo eShop. The game is also available for pre-order digitally and from various retailers.
