Ubisoft has revealed the release date for the first wave of DLC coming to Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope. The Mario + Rabbits Tower of Doooom DLC will be available exclusively to Season Pass owners on March 2, 2023.
Mario + Rabbids Tower of Doooom Release Date and Details
Ubisoft first revealed more details on the upcoming Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope DLC packs back in November 2022. It revealed that three DLC expansions will be coming to the game over the course of the year, the first among these being the Tower of Doooom.
This DLC will only be available to players who purchased the Gold Edition of Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, which includes the Season Pass that automatically downloads all DLC as it is released. The remaining two DLC packs will be available for any player to download, whether they purchased the Gold Edition of the game or not.
The Tower of Doooom will add a new combat mode to Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope for players to challenge. It is described as pitting the players against the game’s “highly strategic battles” and appears to prominently feature the character Madame Bwahstrella.Â
This character allows the player to take on Gateway Challenge Quests, which are particularly challenging battles that pit players against many enemies bad provide greater rewards for completion, namely Planet Coins needed for game progression.
The Tower of Doooom also appears to incorporate these gateways and will pit players against particularly challenging enemies, mostly like in a gauntlet style, as they climb the aforementioned tower.
More details are expected to be shared when the DLC finally arrives on March 2, 2023. The remaining two DLCs will be available in mid-2023 and late-2023 for all users.
The second will players to take on a mysterious new enemy that appears to be a Spark Hunter on a new planet. The third will feature Rayman and have him, Â Rabbit Peach and Rabbid Mario go on their own individual adventure.
