For those of you Splatoon 3 fans who follow the competitive scene, you saw the Splatoon 3 North American championship last weekend. The event held at PAX East did more than just give us a good show. The competitive match has also given out a free banner for everyone in the game. According to the official Splatoon NA Twitter account, you can score the free banner now. The banner is Boston-themed, featuring a yellow and green background, as well as a lobster on the right side. If that sounds like your kind of style, head over to the Splatoon NA Twitter post and take a look at the QR code for yourself.

How To Get The Free Splatoon 3 Banner
The banner that players can get for free represents the winning team that took the title last weekend. If you want the banner, you’ll have to use the Nintendo Switch Online App to get a hold of it for yourself. To get the banner, click over to the Tweet and get your SplatNet 3 section of the Nintendo Switch Online app open and ready to go. On the bottom of the homepage is a QR code reader. Use that QR code reader to scan the image from the tweet. Once you’ve finished that, you should have a new banner waiting for you in the Splatoon 3 Lobby.
If this doesn’t result in a new banner, there’s no harm in trying again from the beginning. However, if you continue to have issues, consider either contacting support or just waiting for a little bit and trying again later on. With a new Splatfest coming up this weekend, it’s entirely up to you if you want to rep this cool new banner during the festivities or not. Either way, having one more banner to choose from to give yourself a festive new Splatfest look is always a good idea, in my book.
