Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s romance is continuing to heat up. On Wednesday, Sept. 27, the NFL star opened up about his rumored relationship with Swift on his New Heights podcast. The latest episode comes days after the singer appeared at the Kansas City Chiefs game on Sunday to support Kelce. “I’m enjoying life and I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend,” the football player said after spending time with Swift following the game.
Travis Kelce Praises Taylor Swift In Latest Podcast Episode
On Sunday, Sept. 24, Swift was photographed watching the Kansas City Chiefs play against the Chicago Bears at Arrowhead Stadium. She sat in Kelce’s suit alongside his mother, Donna. The pair appeared to get along well. They were seen chatting and laughing with each other over the course of the game. Swift’s appearance comes amid rumors that she and Kelce have recently begun dating. “Shout out to Taylor for pulling up. That was pretty ballsy,” Kelce said on his podcast.
The star then praised Swift by revealing that his friends and family “had nothing but great things” to say about the singer after meeting her. “She looked amazing and everybody was talking about her in great light,” Kelce said. He added that seeing Swift and his mother’s interactions throughout the day made it a game he’ll “definitely” remember.
“To see the slow-motion chest bumps, to see the high fives with mom, to see how, you know, Chiefs kingdom was all excited that she was there — that sh*t was absolutely hysterical,” he said. Kelce then appeared to reference Swift’s 2017 track “Getaway Car” by saying, “And then we just slid off in the getaway car at the end.” Following the game, Kelce and Swift were spotted leaving the stadium in the NFL star’s 1970 Chevelle 408 Stroker convertible.
While Kelce was happy to dish about Swift, he said that moving forward, he won’t be talking about her anymore on his podcast. “It is my personal life and I wanna respect both of our lives,” he said.
